Paul's brother Randy and his family were in town this weekend for Easter. Instead of doing the hunt and dinner on Sunday, because they needed to get home Sunday night, we did it today. It was quite a day, we went to Rich Nelson's Easter Egg Hunt this morning, where the 3 youngest got to hunt for eggs. They had SO much fun. Rich and his fabulous helpers (the Algers) put out a golden egg. If you find it you get a HUGE candy bar. Trevor was so focused on finding the golden egg, that he only got one egg. They were so kind and they check EVERYONE'S bag to make sure they got enough, they saw his and told him to go up to were Rich was and he would give him some candy. They must have big hands because they gave them quite the handful. =) Even Chris who did get some eggs still got a lot of candy. Emily had NO problem quickly gathering eggs. She is a professional. Later we went to have lunch with Paul's family and have another egg/candy hunt. Naturally they had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa's (who spoil them rotten).
Unfortunatly Brittany got strep yesterday and was unable to do the fun things today, but we did hook her up with all the yummy foods and cookies that Paul's mom made. She also got her share of candy and gifts from them. Gayle's great like that.
Pictures from our busy day are coming soon....

I DID IT !!!
I made it to my next goal of 70 lbs. Yeah me! I was a little anxious this morning when I stepped onto the scales. When I saw that it was not only what I was shooting for, but that I even went over by 1/2 lb. that was super exciting. I got off the scales and went to the front room and shouted excitedly I DID IT!! My kids all turned from the early morning cartoons to ask what it was that I did. I told them that I made it to this goal. They all said "oh that's great" in a nice tone, and immediatly there eyes were reglued to the T.V. I had to laugh, they crack me up.

Our little ham

Chris was in the play Sleeping Beauty at school and we went as a family tonite and Grandma Sheetz came with. We had a lot of fun. Chris was very good and was such a ham. I took pics and actually am getting them posted right away. I am so proud of myself. =) We went out for ice cream afterwards. The play was great. They did a really good job putting it together.

Getting Close
Most of you know that I have been working on losing weight to be a healthier weight. I am very excited, because I am almost to my next big goal the big 7-0. I can't wait. I only have 2 more pounds to go. Yeah me. I have already decided my reward and can't wait to go get it. Here is my thank you speach to all those who have supported me up to this point. I have to acknowledge of course my fabulous and very wonderful, patient, loving husband for his words of encouragement. Alisha Despain who is a great aerobics instructor and encouraged me when I needed it. Thanks so much, your awesome. Of course I can't forget my sister Jody who has been my personal cheerleader over the phone through thick and thin. My mom and other sister becca who were also encouraging and supportive. I definetly have to say thanks to the ward for all those who are there cheering me on, I really appreciate it.
Paul and I decided to do Spring cleaning this weekend due to our schedules wouldn't allow it for the next month. We got our crew involved (of course). I know they didn't enjoy the work, but I know that they liked having really, really clean rooms. Paul was very eager to get going and so he got started yesterday and ended up doing the lions share of the work. He is so awesome. We finished up the rest today. The kids were happy to finish quickly and get outside in the beautiful weather. Maybe we should have done the outside...
Anyways there are only 8 weeks of school left (actually less because of spring break, etc. ) YEAH! Summer Break here we come.

Me Time
I have been going to a ceramics class for some "me" time. I love it, I go once a week for 2 hrs. and work on painting ceramics. My first project was a bunny. It turned out very well I must say. (not intending toot my own horn, but it looks good for a first timer) My next project that I have started on, is 3 witches in a cauldron of bubbles reading a book. I am very excited to work on this every week. I look forward to it and when I finish, will try to post a picture of it (if it doesn't look too bad). The teacher is so good and she will help you when you screw up ( I do that lot).
I'm an aunt, again
Yeah, my sister Jody had her baby. Maybe she was 2 weeks early and the nurse delivered her, but she is here and is a healthy 7lb. 14 oz. She went in and not even an hour later she had her with absolutley NO edipural-now that's wonderwoman in my book.
She is such a great mom, we love comparing stories of likeness with our girls who are 6 months apart. They still look the same, they got there freckles at the same time have the same hair and eye color. I am very excited to go see my new niece soon. Paul and I now have 7 nieces and nephews, thanks to our siblings. I definetly love being an aunt to all of them.
