I can't believe it's almost here. There are only 6 days left until I fly north to see Jody and Becca and my mom. YEAH!!
Also for those keeping up with my weightloss, I did GREAT this week. I lost 3.4 lbs. for a grand total of 75 lbs. YEAH me! I stopped grumbling and went with my friend Beth and got 2 new outfits and a pair of jeans. That was very exciting to go through the racks and say that's too big, that's too big many times. So now I have some clothes that fit me. Ok the pants were too long. That's what I get for trying them on with out my shoes on. =)
Some of my support group has started doing a new thing. It is push-ups and sit-ups. There is this web site (hundredpushups.com) that shows you how to get up to 100 push-ups and 200 sit-ups slowly with an every other day regime. Depending on how you tested, it tells you how many to do. We are excited and it's fun to compare notes of how "well" they went that day. (there is a lot of sarcasm there)

Spring Break!!
Just to precedent, we NEVER do anything for Spring Break but maybe clean and get caught up on life. Which I usually look forward to, but for some reason the kids don't. =) Since I work at the school and I am off too, I decided this year would be different. So about a month before, I started to plan this suprise vacation for my family. (Unfortunatly Paul wasn't able to get it off, but I wasn't gonna let that stop us)
It was almost time for Brittany to leave for school Tuesday morning, I explained to them all that there are these new vaccinations that we all have to go get and then we would come back and get our stuff and go to school. (I was expecting them to put up a big fuss, that is why I chose that excuse and then we would tell them the truth). They all said ok- like no big deal. It was hilarious. So then we went and met Paul and said our goodbyes and he told them then we were going to Vegas to stay with his brother and sister-in-law for Spring Break. They were VERY excited.
We had so much fun, I have never been there before. We went to the Ethel M chocolate factory and the M&M factory and the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay (thanks to grandma and grandpa),
MGM to see the lions (who were sleeping both times we stopped in) and the Belagio for the water show. We also saw the volcano at the Mirage. Amy and Randy were so awesome to let us invade there space. Amy was extremly wonderful for driving with us everywhere and tolerating us. She spoiled us with her good cooking and fabulous hospitality.
What had to be the best part of the trip besides actually making it home from 3 1/2 days with 4 kids, was when I asked them what there favorite part of the trip was. There answers where.. Chris- the shark reef, Trevor-Bobble (neice), Emily- E (other neice), Brit- didn't have one. It made me so happy that they really just enjoyed being around the people we went to go visit.
And of course as always pics are to come. (hey cut me some slack I just got home) =)

Easter weekend
Paul's brother Randy and his family were in town this weekend for Easter. Instead of doing the hunt and dinner on Sunday, because they needed to get home Sunday night, we did it today. It was quite a day, we went to Rich Nelson's Easter Egg Hunt this morning, where the 3 youngest got to hunt for eggs. They had SO much fun. Rich and his fabulous helpers (the Algers) put out a golden egg. If you find it you get a HUGE candy bar. Trevor was so focused on finding the golden egg, that he only got one egg. They were so kind and they check EVERYONE'S bag to make sure they got enough, they saw his and told him to go up to were Rich was and he would give him some candy. They must have big hands because they gave them quite the handful. =) Even Chris who did get some eggs still got a lot of candy. Emily had NO problem quickly gathering eggs. She is a professional. Later we went to have lunch with Paul's family and have another egg/candy hunt. Naturally they had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa's (who spoil them rotten).
Unfortunatly Brittany got strep yesterday and was unable to do the fun things today, but we did hook her up with all the yummy foods and cookies that Paul's mom made. She also got her share of candy and gifts from them. Gayle's great like that.
Pictures from our busy day are coming soon....

I DID IT !!!
I made it to my next goal of 70 lbs. Yeah me! I was a little anxious this morning when I stepped onto the scales. When I saw that it was not only what I was shooting for, but that I even went over by 1/2 lb. that was super exciting. I got off the scales and went to the front room and shouted excitedly I DID IT!! My kids all turned from the early morning cartoons to ask what it was that I did. I told them that I made it to this goal. They all said "oh that's great" in a nice tone, and immediatly there eyes were reglued to the T.V. I had to laugh, they crack me up.
